The casa Azul is situated at the far end of a quiet cul-de-sac, opposite the pousada "recanto das andorinhas". The house is number 11 "Rua das Andorinhas" in the residential neighborhood of Caboré (neighborhood adjacent to the historical center), a calm and flowery neighborhood. Ideal neighbourhood for a stay in Paraty, more “breezy" (apartments in the historical center can be stifling) and calmer than the historical center.

The house is located 20 minutes walking distance from Jabaquara beach (5 min by bicycle / at your disposal), 20 minutes walking distance to the historical center of Paraty (5 min by bicycle or 3 min by car), and 5 minutes by taxi from the bus station.

The bus company COSTA VERDE assures 5 daily departures from the bus terminal in Rio (Rodoviaria / 4hour long trip – large tourist bus). Same thing for the return trip Paraty-Rio.  The bus company Reunidas to Sao Paulo equally assures several daily departures from Paraty from the Bus Terminal “Tête” in Sao Paulo.

  To get there by car, take the Avenida Brasil in Rio of Janeiro and continue straight on to the west.  Pass the cities Bangu and Campo Grande and when the dual carriageway comes to an end, take the junction to the right following the signs to Angra, Mangaratiba, etc. Then just continue straight on all the way to  Angra das Reis and then Paraty .

  Take the expressway Rio-Santos to the city of Taubaté.  Take the fork on highway towards the coast (Ubatuba).  Arriving at Ubatuba, take the coastal road to the north to Paraty.
• • Once in Paraty, ask for the neighborhood of Caboré and once in Caboré , ask for the pousada "Recanto das Andorinhas". The "Casa Azul" is the house opposite the pousada, number 11.
